JOB SUMMARY
Radius is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility is to identify and generate sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound prospecting, personalized emailing and social media outreach. This position requires heavy outbound phone calling, qualification, consultative selling and tight collaboration with the Account Executives and the Head of Sales to generate new opportunities. The SDR will be expected to report on qualification and call activity and stay thoroughly informed on all Radius’ products and the real estate industry in general.

This entry-level position requires an ambitious and humble self-starter who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. We’ll teach you how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically. Relationship selling skills, with the ability to manage sales calls at varying levels of customer accounts, are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Individual Contributor Role 

  • Meet or exceed assigned quota of a minimum of 80 calls, 80 emails per day, and 10 scheduled meetings per week
  • Create opportunities for the sales team from prospecting and marketing generated leads
  • Demonstrate the value the Radius platform through phone calls, email, LinkedIn and other social mediums 
  • Create target prospects lists and profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales rep
  • Set appointments for the Radius sales team and educate AE as necessary about the opportunity
  • Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
  • Update all contacts/opportunities and recording all progress in Hubspot to ensure successful follow through of the sales cycle 
 

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ year of successful experience in prospecting and/or telemarketing, preferably in technology. 
  • Proven track record demonstrating strong articulation of a product selling points via phone & email.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener.
  • Fearlessness - willing to hop on the phone with new people every single day and explain Radius’ value proposition as it relates to each individual you speak with.
  • An obsession with prospect happiness - set the stage for effective sales follow-up.
  • Doer - see something broken? Fix it.
  • Flexibility and adaptability - things change around here. FAST.
  • Proven ability to perform successfully given low oversight and limited process. 
  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent, detail-oriented work ethic.
  • Positive attitude, energetic phone presence and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection.
  • Adept computer skills including proficiency with Google Workplace.
